Stories from us

Hüseyin Taşlıoğlu

Boğaziçi University Department of Primary Mathematics Education, Student

I am a senior at Boğaziçi University Department of Primary Mathematics Education. I first met Vehbi Koç Foundation through the financial aid office at my school; they directed me to VKV.

What are your future plans and goals?
I am planning to work for a private school after I graduate. My goal is to save enough to start my own business.

What is VKV’s place in your life?
In addition to the scholarship, VKV’s most important support for me was achieving academic success because I had to study regularly and systematically to maintain a 2.5 GPA to keep my scholarship. This requirement pushed me to raise my GPA, so in short it resulted in my success! I am grateful to Vehbi Koç Foundation and all the staff, as well as Boğaziçi University Financial Aid Office for introducing me to this foundation.
