Stories from us

Nazlı İrem Apaydın

Student at the Koç School

I am 12, and a 7th grade student at VKV Koç School. I play for the school’s volleyball team, and I am the president of the Ecology Club.

How were you first introduced to Vehbi Koç Foundation, and what was your connection?
I first met VKV through the external transfer exam at the end of 4th grade, but I had previously heard from my cousins about the success of the Foundation, and how wonderful the school was.

What are your future plans and goals?
After I graduate from the Koç School, I am hoping to study at a prestigious US university such as Harvard, Yale, or Stanford. And then, I want to pursue a career.

What is VKV’s place in your life?
VKV provides significant contribution to our school in many ways, enabling us to become responsible and well-educated individuals.

What else would you like to say about your school?
I think this is one of the best schools in Turkey, not only for its academic success, but also with the social benefits offered to us, and its contributions to our development. I feel very lucky that I could attend this school.
