Paving the way to the Future:
Activities of 2013

Prepared for the first time in 2012, te Vehbi Koç Foundation’s Annual Report’s second issue "VKV 2013” has been published. The report relates the activities, enriched with relevant interviews, carried out by the Foundation and its Entities in the fields of education, healthcare and culture. The preface by Chairperson of the Board of Directors Semahat Arsel and President Erdal Yıldırım brings questions about the future to the reader’s attention: “In last year’s report, we reiterated our commitment to our founder Vehbi Koç’s words: ‘I live and prosper with my country’ stressing that our Foundation’s services in the fields of Education, Culture and Healthcare -the country’s most vital issues- continue to be inspired by this very notion. This year, however, we would like to look not to the past but to the future. By what criteria are our activities, our successes as well as failures, going to be judged fifty or even one hundred years from now? More importantly, what meaningful contributions are, the services we provide and objectives we hold today, going to make to the Turkey and the world of tomorrow?”

The report is prepared both in English and Turkish giving information about the Foundation’s activities.
