Koç University is ranked at the 31st in “THE 100 Under 50 2013 world university rankings” of the Times Higher Education (THE), United Kingdom's leading higher education news publication. “THE 100 Under 50” is a ranking of the top 100 universities in the world under 50 years old. Koç University was the highest ranking Turkish university in the list.
Prepared by the British newspaper The Times, The Times Higher Education, makes listings of the world's top universities. “THE 100 Under 50” list includes the top 100 universities less than 50 years old. The listings are done taking into account the research studies, the scientific publications and other academic achievements carried out by the universities. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Koç University was the youngest establishment in the List.
