Rahmi M. Koç Medal of Science due to be awarded soon
“Rahmi M. Koç Medal of Science” program which was launched last year by Koç University to promote the advancement of the sciences by recognizing the achievements - both in Turkey and abroad - of the most promising minds of our nation, exceptional individuals of Turkish origin who have shown outstanding success and significant progress in their field, is due to be announced at an awards ceremony on November 22, 2017. Last year’s winner Prof. Aydoğan Özcan was presented the award for his outstanding fundamental scientific contributions to lensless imaging, microscopy and photonics, and the development of innovative technologies for telemedicine, medical sensing and diagnostic applications.
