KOÇ-KAM undertakes activities on issues pertaining to women and gender
The Center for Gender Studies at Koç University (KOÇ-KAM) established as an interdisciplinary hub for gender research and gender studies in March 2010, undertakes various academic and training activities within and outside the university on issues pertaining to women and gender. The Center’s Founder and Director Çiğdem Kağıtçıbaşı, Professor of Psychology at Koç University has unfortunately passed away last March, in whose name UNESCO Chair on Gender Equality and Sustainable Development was established recently.
