A Study on "Charitable Giving In Turkey"

The Study on Individual Charitable Giving and Philanthropy in Turkey was published by the Third Sector Foundation of Turkey (TÜSEV) with the contributions of six foundations including the Vehbi Koç Foundation. Led by Professor Ali Çarkoğlu and Assoc. Professor Selim Erdem Aytaç, the study was conducted by Koç University Field Research Center in 68 provinces across Turkey with the participation of 2,495 respondents. According to the results of the study, all individual donations and giving in a year total TL 228 per person in Turkey while only TL 16.70 of this amount goes to institutions including civil society organizations.
