Vocational Education Scholarships

Contributing to the training of qualified human resources needed in Turkey

The scholarships that aim to improve vocational and technical education are funded by donations from companies within Koç Group, and awarded to qualified students studying at vocational high schools.

Application and selection process:

• School administrations announce their scholarships at the beginning of each academic year.
• The student fills out the Vehbi Koç Foundation Scholarship Form and submits it to the school.
• The scholarship offices of the schools carry out a pre-selection among applicants.
• The Scholarship Commission composed of officials from Vehbi Koç Foundation and the school conducts in-person interviews with scholarship candidates.
• The list of original and substitute scholars are announced to the students by the school.
• Registrations are made through Vehbi Koç Foundation’s scholarship web portal.

Scholarship continuation requirements:

• To maintain an overall cumulative grade point average of at least 60 over 100, 3.00 over 5, or 2.50 over 4 at the end of any academic year
• Not to have any failed courses from previous years
• To have passed all the subjects and moved up to the next class, and to actually continue studies
• Not to be benefitting from other need-based scholarships
• Not to have a disciplinary record

*Falsified declarations will lead to cancellation of the scholarship and may result in legal action for refund of paid amounts.
