University Scholarships
Toward a bright future with young people
University scholarships awarded to talented students with limited means throughout their education are funded by allocations from the Main Assets and other fund revenues of the Foundation.
Scholarships offered for the following universities:

Application and selection process:
-
Scholarship Offices of the Universities and the offices of the Faculty Secretaries announce their scholarships at the beginning of each academic year.

The student fills out the Vehbi Koç Foundation Scholarship Form and submits it to the school.
-
The Scholarship Commission composed of officials from Vehbi Koç Foundation and the school conducts in-person interviews with scholarship candidates.
-
The list of original and substitute scholars are announced to the students by the school.

Vehbi Koç Foundation starts the scholarship procedures.
Eligibility for scholarships:
-
To be a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, or to be of Turkish origin
-
To be an undergraduate student of formal education
-
To be in need of financial aid for education
-
Not to have a disciplinary record
-
To have a grade point average of at least 60 over 100, 3.00 over 5, or 2.50 over 4
-
Not to be benefitting from other need-based scholarships
Scholarship continuation requirements:

To maintain an overall cumulative grade point average of at least 60 over 100, 3.00 over 5, or 2.50 over 4 at the end of any academic year

Not to have any failed courses from previous years
-
To have passed all the subjects and moved up to the next class, and to actually continue studies
-
Not to be benefitting from other need-based scholarships
-
Not to have a disciplinary record
*Falsified declarations will lead to cancellation of the scholarship and may result in legal action for refund of paid amounts.
