American Ambulatory Care Surgery Center

Up-to-date medical approach with a qualified and competent staff

The Center first opened in 1997 as part of the American Hospital, providing services to patients in Istanbul’s Anatolian district. In 2015, it was transformed into a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center following an investment of 10 million dollars. American Ambulatory Care Center has 22 examination rooms, clinical laboratories, medical imaging clinics, 2 operation rooms and 8 outpatient beds.

Since reopening as a full-service medical center at its new location on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, in July 2015, the American Ambulatory Care Center has greatly expanded both its range of healthcare services as well as the number of patients serviced. Recording over 12% increase in patient numbers in 2016, American helped more than 70,000 patients, providing diagnostic and therapeutic services and over 600 surgeries. The Center also renewed its ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality certifications in December 2016.
